As we sat in our renovated RV, brainstorming ways to support those in need, we received an inspiring call from our friend, Jeff Hawkins. Jeff, the owner of Discovery Cabinetry, had a heartfelt idea: to surprise a veteran with a complete kitchen makeover. He was already working on partnering with a flooring company to create a brand-new kitchen, top to bottom. Jeff reached out to us, hoping we could contribute resources to enhance the veteran's quality of life. His goal wasn't just to provide a new kitchen; he wanted to make a meaningful, positive impact.
Why are we sharing this story? Because it's where our idea took root. Having spent the last several months transforming our camper into a home, we realized this approach could help many people lead better lives, reduce stress, and offer a true sense of freedom. After that call, we asked ourselves a simple yet powerful question: how can we help veterans? The answer was clear—we can find, renovate, and provide RVs to veterans suffering from PTSD.
PTSD is a complex challenge that affects each individual differently. Veterans with PTSD often face significant difficulties, from maintaining relationships and meeting their own needs to holding steady jobs and securing stable housing. Whether it's buying a home or renting a place, the challenges can be overwhelming. That's where we step in! By connecting veterans with renovated RVs, we aim to alleviate many of these burdens, providing them with a flexible living arrangement. This mobility allows them the freedom to move and find the peace and stability they need to thrive.
Our Mission
United Serendipity's mission is to empower veterans with PTSD to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of freedom and community support by providing secure, mobile housing through our "RVs for PTSD" initiative.
Our Vision
We want to live in a world where people can buy homes that match their needs rather than having to find a compromise and settle on the second-best option. That's why we take a lot of time and care in getting to know our clients from the moment they reach out to us and ask for our help.
